music post today poppets!!!!
so i was just randomly googling for new music and found a few new sounds..
first up is Kanon Wakeshima.
she’s been playing the cello since age 3 and her voice is amazing.
i love her single, still doll. been listening to it on repeat since this morning. it’s also the ending theme to vampire knight. some show or something…. the music video is well captivating in a haunting, dark sort of way. she dresses in a gothic lolita fashion which i always appreciate and plays the cello!!
so i went to her website: hereand looked for her favorite music. i found both musicians and composers. i was like rock on sister,
i know and like about half of the people on here!! so i googled Emilie Simon, Lily Chou-Chou(the person, not the movie), Kojima Mayumi, Claude Debussy, and Eric Satie so i could find and download their works. i’m doing that right now. so far i like emilie simon’s happy tone and cute abstract videos and lily chou-chou has that raspy unique voice that i love among female artists. you can google the rest by yourselves. i have some music to download!!!
while browsing those musica appreciators i watched kamikaze girls on youtube. now there’s a movie i could watch over and over again. it’s the story of two girls from very different backgrounds who become friends. now you wouldn’t think a yanki and a lolita could get along, but i think they complement each other’s personalities. oh if you think it’s a story about a baseball player and a child seductress/prostitute, then may i introduce you to your new friend google?
here’s part one to get you started…..
oh and btw mcdonalds apple pies taste great with purple koolaid.
just letting you know, for you know future snackie ideas.
annnnnnnd i found my dj headphones which have awesome sound but are broken one ear.
no matter i duck-taped my way into happiness!!!!!!!!
laters!
^-^
p.s. happy belated birthday teukie!!!!!
if i had an wacky crazy cool mother hen of a brother i’d want it to be you!!!
and that’s a compliment held in high esteem!!!
